About Ivybrook Academy Frisco
Ivybrook Academy Frisco is a half-day preschool serving families along the Panther Creek corridor and throughout the greater Frisco, Prosper, and Little Elm communities. Located at 5055 Panther Creek Parkway, our campus provides morning preschool programs for children ages 18 months through 5 years, grounded in a blended Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach.
Our mornings are designed around how young children actually learn: through exploration, hands-on discovery, and relationships with educators who know each child individually. Children arrive ready to engage, spend their mornings immersed in intentional learning experiences, and leave with energy and stories to carry into the rest of their day.
The half-day model is a deliberate choice. It gives children focused time during the hours when they are most alert and receptive, then returns them home for the unstructured play, rest, and family connection that early development requires. For families in Frisco who want a philosophy-driven preschool without overscheduling a young child, this is the program we built.
What a Morning Looks Like
Every morning at our Frisco campus begins with a gathering that sets the tone for the day. Children share observations, reconnect with friends, and step into a learning environment prepared specifically for them.
From there, the morning unfolds through a mix of guided exploration, independent work, and collaborative projects. Our educators observe closely, ask questions, and follow each child's curiosity rather than pushing a fixed script. If a child becomes fascinated with how water moves through sand, that interest becomes the lesson. If a group of four-year-olds wants to understand how buildings stay up, the classroom becomes a construction studio.
This is the Reggio Emilia approach in practice: treating children as capable, curious thinkers and designing the learning around what they are genuinely interested in. Paired with Montessori principles of independence, choice, and self-directed learning, it creates a morning that is both structured and deeply responsive to each child.
Programs We Offer
Toddler Preschool (18 months to 2 years) Early exploration in a safe, nurturing setting. Children build language, social awareness, and confidence through sensory-rich activities and gentle routines.
Preschool for 2-Year-Olds A bridge between toddlerhood and the preschool classroom. Children develop independence, early communication skills, and comfort in a learning community.
Preschool for 3-Year-Olds The curiosity years. Children engage in project-based discovery, build friendships, develop early literacy and numeracy concepts, and begin to see themselves as learners.
Pre-K for 4 and 5-Year-Olds Kindergarten preparation through genuine readiness: social-emotional confidence, language and communication skills, self-regulation, and a love of learning that carries into elementary school and beyond.
Summer Camp Seasonal programming that extends the Ivybrook experience through themed exploration weeks during the summer months.

Our campus draws families from across North Frisco, including the Panther Creek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Hollyhock, Lilyana, and Fields communities, as well as families in Prosper and Little Elm. We are located just west of the Dallas North Tollway, with easy access from Highway 380 and Panther Creek Parkway.
