Meet the Team
Jessica Sampson is excited to be the Principal of Ivybrook Academy- Sandy Springs!
Jessica has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and multiple National and State-Wide Director Certifications. She brings over 22 years of experience in ECE as a Teacher, School Director, Director Mentor, Regional Director and Corporate Trainer. Jessica believe children are sponges absorbing the world around them forming their own personalities. When picking the right school for their children a family must take all areas into consideration, for when a child “absorbs their environment their senses do not discriminate between learning and playing.
At Ivybrook, a child is able to fully develop their sense of wonder, enhance their creativity, and develop their knowledge through hands-on experiences, and guidance from passionate, qualified teachers.
Jessica describes herself as a wife and mother to two incredible children, Cooper and Saylor. Jessica says her goal in life is simple: to love family, friends and strangers with an open unfiltered heart. To leave upon people whom she encounters their own "Jessica" stamp, to which when asked they can respond with a smile.

Owner's Story

Hi, I'm Bill – IvyBrook Academy Owner, Dad, and Advocate for Purposeful Learning
After a rewarding career in the financial world—working as a CFO and leading teams through complex business decisions—I realized it was time for a new chapter. I wasn’t just looking for another professional opportunity; I was searching for purpose.
Originally from Ann Arbor and a proud Michigan State University graduate, I’ve called the Atlanta area home for over 25 years. My career began in public accounting, where I earned my CPA certification and built a strong foundation in finance. From there, I transitioned into the private sector, taking on leadership roles with incredible organizations and navigating high-growth, dynamic environments.
But numbers and strategy have never been the full story for me. I’ve always been passionate about coaching, mentoring, and building cultures that empower people and make a lasting impact.
That passion found a new outlet when my wife and I began searching for the right learning environment for our son, Max. We wanted and found a place that nurtured both academic and social development—an inclusive space where he could thrive. Experiencing that journey ultimately led me to Ivybrook Academy as a future endeavor.
I immediately connected with Ivybrook's mission: to provide a balanced, child-centered curriculum that celebrates every learner’s individuality. Joining this community has allowed me to blend my business experience with a cause I care deeply about—supporting families and laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
I’m proud to bring Ivybrook's thoughtful approach to early childhood education to our community—and even prouder to be part of something that truly makes a difference.
