Our Programs

Ivybrook Academy Greenville offers programs for children ages 18 months through 6 years. Each of our programs integrates age-appropriate practices and is flexible to the individual needs of each student. We offer the following programs:

  • Toddler Preschool
  • Preschool for 2-Year-Olds
  • Preschool for 3-Year-Olds
  • Preschool for 4 & 5-Year-Olds
  • Dual Session

Dual Session- The Dual Enrollment program allows children to participate in both the morning and afternoon half-day sessions at Ivybrook Academy, providing extended learning opportunities while maintaining a balanced schedule

All of the above programs are part-day programs that run for 10 months during the year. We also offer our Summer Camp program to keep kids engaged and learning during the warmer months.

Our Approach

Our Greenville Preschool understands that children have a natural curiosity about the world and encourages them to explore and discover their surroundings. Our hybrid curriculum draws from three innovative approaches that help children find their voices, embrace their individuality, and become compassionate citizens. These approaches include:

  • Montessori – For over a century, this highly-respected approach has been used to allow children to take the lead and work at their own pace. This method encourages students to embrace their natural curiosity.
  • Reggio Emilia – This approach is similar to the Montessori method and supports teachers in encouraging self-paced learning for students. This is a more collaborative style of learning that invites teachers and families to actively participate in students’ educational experiences.
  • Theory of Multiple Intelligences – Researched by a Harvard professor, this educational approach supports the belief that there is no single way of learning. Since students learn, remember, perform, and comprehend in different ways, the curriculum should be adapted accordingly to best position children to learn.
