Welcome to Ivybrook Academy Solon, where we build strong foundations for a lifetime of learning. Our private preschool offers an innovative approach to early childhood education rooted in the educational philosophies of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Serving children ages 18 months through 6 years, Ivybrook provides thoughtfully designed environments where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and discover the world around them. We believe every child is unique, and our approach supports individual learning styles while fostering independence, confidence, and compassion.

Our half-day programs balance meaningful classroom learning with valuable time at home during these important early years. Through an engaging curriculum that includes literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and social-emotional development, children are supported in growing academically, socially, and emotionally.

We offer the following programs:

  • Toddler Preschool– Our Toddler Program creates a warm and responsive environment where young learners take their first steps toward independence and discovery.   • Preschool for 2-Year-Olds– We understand that the age of two is a time of wonder and rapid growth. Our program is thoughtfully designed to nurture your child’s natural curiosity, support their developmental milestones, and foster a love for learning. Through hands-on activities, interactive play, and a compassionate environment, we guide your child on their journey of exploration and self-discovery.
  • Preschool for 3-Year-Olds - We celebrate the natural curiosity and energy of three-year-olds by providing an environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and foundational learning. Our program is thoughtfully crafted to balance academic growth with imaginative play, empowering your child to build confidence and develop critical skills during this transformative stage of early childhood.
  • Preschool for 4 & 5-Year-Olds – We recognize the exciting growth and readiness of four- and five-year-olds as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey. Our Prekindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten programs are thoughtfully designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare young learners through a balanced approach of academic exploration and creative play.
  • Preschool Summer Camp– Just because the school year ends does not mean children stop learning. Our Summer Camp program offers fun themed activities and adventures. Through these hands-on sensory-rich experiences, children will have such a great time, they’ll have no idea they are learning!
