Meet Our School Principal, Ms. Anne Hiatt
My name is Ms. Anne Hiatt, and I have the joy of serving as the Principal of Ivybrook Academy. As we get ready to begin a brand-new school year, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all of our families, both new and returning.
At Ivybrook, we believe early childhood education shapes not only young minds, but also kind hearts and bright futures. Each day, we work to create a space where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore the world around them. We honor every child’s unique path of growth and discovery, and we’re so grateful to partner with you to support that journey every step of the way.
I'm also so excited to be working closely with Priya, our Director of Admissions and co-owner of our school, along with her husband Ash. As fellow Ivybrook parents, they care deeply about building a connected school community grounded in trust, transparency, and shared values.
This school year will be full of joyful moments, hands-on learning, and so many opportunities to grow together. I can’t wait to welcome your children into our classrooms, see their smiling faces each morning, and get to know each of you as we build a strong and supportive Ivybrook family.

Meet the Agarwal Family
Ash and Priya Agarwal opened Ivybrook Academy in 2020 and feel so grateful to have the opportunity to share their love of learning with the Hendersonville community. They have 2 young children themselves, a boy and girl. This year, along with being owners, they will also be Ivybrook parents! Raising a family comes with its rewards and challenges, and their mission is to support families on their journey in raising young children.
Ash and Priya have a profound love for their community. As new parents, they understand the challenges of raising a family, fueling their passion for education and child development. This passion led them to discover Ivybrook Academy, a place they immediately recognized as embodying the ideals and values they cherished for their own children’s early education.
A Letter from Ash and Priya
It has been such a joy to bring Ivybrook Academy to the Hendersonville area. Having opened in the middle of the pandemic, we are thrilled to be going into our fifth school year. Having two of our own, we understand that all children are unique and learn differently at different times. When we discovered Ivybrook Academy, we knew this was where we want our own children to attend preschool—a school that would meet their unique needs and individuality.
We have also developed an amazing school community with dedicated educators and families who want the very best for their students. The supportive and nurturing environment at Ivybrook reflects our commitment to fostering each child’s individual growth and curiosity,
