Amber Lee has taken an approach with education to focus on fulfilling the social-emotional needs of children first to obtain academic success. Amber spent many days as a child playing “school” with her younger brother and teaching lessons on a green easel chalkboard. She prepared to be a teacher one day just like her parents, but as new experiences granted different perspectives, Amber found a new love for teaching children by becoming a school social worker. As an adult, she has learned so many incredible things from the students that she has built relationships with, including that children have boundless ideas and feelings that must be discovered and heard. Amber is ecstatic to help children develop and create their own path to self-discovery and growth through the unique curriculum and environment that Ivybrook Academy provides.
Testimonials
Our child attended Ivybrook Academy Dublin from the Two's program all the way through Transitional Kindergarten, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first school experience. From day one, the environment has been warm, safe, and welcoming — giving us peace of mind as parents.
Ivybrook strikes a perfect balance between academic focus and playful exploration. Their approach to learning through play, hands-on experiments, and creative activities has sparked our child’s curiosity and love for learning. It’s clear that the curriculum is thoughtfully designed.
The educators are without a doubt the most hard working in the industry and fit so many lessons into the daily program. Each one has been incredibly caring, patient, and enthusiastic about what they do. Our child looked forward to going to school every day, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere the teachers create in the classroom. From readers and writers workshop to Discovery (art, yoga, Spanish, music) the daily enrichment is also impressive.
Additionally, the Principal, Asst. Principal and the owner are extremely responsive and communicative. Whether it was a quick question or a concern, we always received prompt and thoughtful responses. Their commitment to partnering with parents and making it a safe learning environment is something we really appreciated.
Another difference between Ivybrook and other early childhood programs is the community. We’ve met other families that will surely be lifelong friends through school events and parent engagement in activities like Young Authors Day, the annual art show and park events.
We’re so grateful for the foundation Ivybrook Dublin has provided our child and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and academically enriching early childhood education experience.

“As with lots of kids, we’re slow moving in the morning. Knowing we don’t have to get up and rush around to get to school in the morning made afternoon classes ideal for us at Ivybrook. Our son has thrived going in the afternoons and looks forward to going!”

“I highly recommend Ivybrook Academy if you are searching for a preschool. Our son has been at Ivybrook for 2 years now (in the Older 2’s and 3’s classes) and will start the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class next school year.
The curriculum is individualized for each student based on where they are in the learning stages. Communication with the teachers is amazing. Each day at pick up they provide a quick update on what they did that day and they send a few pictures each day too. There is a weekly newsletter that recaps what they did for the week. You also receive updates on what they will be working on for the upcoming week along with easy ideas to help them with those concepts at home. We love the events they hold that let us as parents get involved, like the Fall/Spring Family Events, Art Show, Young Author’s Celebration and more.
By far, the thing that stands out most about Ivybrook is the teachers. The teachers truly care for the children and want to see them succeed. My son is excited to come here each day to see his teachers and friends. The growth he has had over the past 2 years, both academically and socially, is amazing. We are so lucky to have a safe and loving place for him to learn outside of our home.”
