    • What kind of training can I expect as a new franchise owner?

      A lot! We are DETERMINED to set you up for SUCCESS with our training consisting of three segments prior to your opening. Each franchise owner receives online classes and phone training; a week of training at our company training facility; and on-site training and set up at your new location.

      After opening, owners will receive weekly communication, ongoing updates to their staff training program, annual curriculum updates, and consistent support via the phone or in person.

    • How long does it take to open an Ivybrook Academy?
      Each location is different, and this will depend on whether it is a lease, new construction build, or renovation of an existing building. Our real estate development team will walk you through every option available to you.
    • What return on investment can I expect?
      As specific profit projections can vary for each franchise owner, we do not provide an estimate of profit or revenue. However, to view our previous financial experiences, we encourage you to request more information where you will receive our Franchise Disclosure Document containing our financial performance statements that we have experienced.
    • Will I need to have a facility built?
      Our model offers you many different choices so that you can pick what is best for your situation. We can offer you options from renting to owning, and from building to converting an existing location. Our team will help design the interior to transform every building into a beautiful school.     • What are the royalty fees?
      Each Ivybrook Academy location contributes 6% in royalty fees and 1% towards the national brand fund based on gross revenue.
    • What do I get with the franchise fee?
      The franchise fee provides you with the following: a license to operate an Ivybrook Academy, our assistance to help you open a location, our proprietary curriculum, use of trademarked logos, daily schedules, policies and procedures, manuals, training systems, operational structure, marketing programs, continuous support after opening and more.
    • Do you help with financing?
      Yes, our business plan and concept have been approved by the Small Business Administration (SBA). We have a great relationship with two financial loan companies to help get you approved seamlessly. As mentioned above, the financial loan companies that we use can convert a previous 401k into your down payment with no penalty.
    • What is the investment to become an Ivybrook Academy franchise owner?
      Total investment costs range from approximately $400,000 - $630,000. To invest in a franchise, individuals will need $250,000 in liquid assets for a down payment to qualify and $1M net worth.       Ivybrook Academy was founded in 2007 outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the suburb of Weddington, NC. Since then, our company has expanded into 17 states with over 77 locations that are open or currently in development.
    • Do I have to have a background in education?
      An education background is not required! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about enriching the lives of children, and most of our franchise owners are parents themselves. Our owners are typically responsible for engaging with employees and customers, managing the business, handling things like accounts payables and receivables, payroll, and HR. In some cases, they also handle one of the school administrator roles.
    • Who is our ideal Ivybrook Academy Preschool Franchise Owner?

      We are looking for someone who is compassionate and caring, ready to help and work with both students and their parents, and motivated to build a team and increase student enrollment. The ideal childcare franchise owner also accepts and embodies the Ivybrook Academy mission.
